I graduated from Michigan State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Speech Language Pathology. Not only did I grow up as the (go to) babysitter on my street for 15+ years, I am educated in Child Development and worked for 4 years as a caregiver to children with special needs. Kate is wonderful! She actually reached out to our family through Care.com after seeing a post about our need for help with remote learning when school closed due to COVID-19. I'm so glad she did! She was great with our two girls, who were in 2nd and 4th grade at the time. She was energetic, caring and thoughtful, yet wasn't afraid to be strict when they pushed boundaries (which they did regularly!). She made meals, helped them with their schoolwork and kept it organized, and kept the house so tidy! I trust she would be an excellent caregiver for any family.
