About Katherine

Happily a nanny for the last nine years. I've been lucky to nanny for some incredible kids. I am proud of all of them. What I love about nannying are the lasting relationships I've made. I was lucky to stay with my first family for six years. The youngest is now 10 and the oldest is 15, with a learner's permit. Time flies by! This is a unique job that requires a lot of energy, patience and dedication. I love what I do and I'm taking my time to find the next family to ensure I find the right fit. I've learned how important it is to work with parents who have a similar parenting style. I love helping children grow into kind, creative, inquisitive human beings through a gentle but firm approach. Talking through difficult moments and maintaining boundaries is my method. Kids thrive when they know what to expect, that is why I think it's important to keep a routine. My current nanny mom will soon be having her first girl and wants to be a stay at home mom with all three kids.
