About Katherine

I have worked as a private in-home tutor, reading specialist at an advanced learning center and provided both in and out-of-home childcare for more than a decade. I've always been in love with English studies and my experience in education has allowed me to share this enthusiasm with learners at all levels, including those with special needs like ADHD. This affinity for language led me to achieving my Bachelors degree in Rhetoric and Non-Fiction Writing at the University of Texas in 2014. I am certified in Basic Nanny Skills by the International Nanny Association and have been certified in both CPR and First Aid. My favorite babysitting activities include arts and crafts, reading, playing outdoors and baking!
