About Katherine

Hi, I'm Katie! I have eight years of childcare experience in both long-term nannying and babysitting roles, caring for children from newborns to teenagers. My experience includes transportation, meal preparation, diaper changes, bedtime and daily routines, homework support, age-appropriate activities, and supporting babies as they work toward developmental milestones. I graduated cum laude from Wheaton College with a bachelor's degree in psychology and a certificate in neuroscience. I spent four years mentoring high school students as a Young Life leader. As former collegiate athlete, I am active, energetic, and creative. I enjoy keeping children highly engaged through outdoor play, sports, walks, crafts, games, reading, and creative projects. I am patient, dependable, organized, and communicative, and I strive to create a safe, encouraging, and fun environment tailored to each child's needs!
