About Katherine

I am working toward my career in childcare. I have a BA in Psychology with a concentration in Childhood Development. My dream is to work with kids, to support & help them reach their best potential. I am very patient, kind, & I love forming bonds with the kids I work with. I like to make every day a fun and memorable experience. I'm looking for a job that is mainly focused on summer hours. I started working with kids when I was in middle school, babysitting for neighbors. In high school I volunteered every summer at a preschool. During the school year I work with autistic kids at Canoga Park High School. I love children and want to help them succeed in every aspect of life. I want to meet the child where they're at & to be involved in their interests. My skills include working with special needs kids. I am very skilled at prioritizing the child's well-being and happiness, I love playing with them & encouraging imaginative scenarios as it is good for their developing minds.
