Following a meet and greet afternoon with our daughter, Katerine committed to being our family's nanny starting the following week. On her first day, 5 minutes before she was scheduled to arrive, I received a text from Katerine stating she had an emergency and could not take care of our daughter that day but could start the next day. Completely understandable as situations happen, and she CONFIRMED she would begin the next day. The following morning, I received another day-of cancellation text stating she would not be able to come over. Katerine explained she had double booked herself and had decided not to honor her commitment to our family but instead focus on her company and morning job. She apologized for her lack of professionalism, but this is extremely inconsiderate. I had informed other candidates that the position was filled, leaving us scrambling. Very disappointed.
