Hi all, I'm currently getting my masters in social work at UIC and looking for a summer nannying or babysitting position. I am going to be a school social work intern at Chicago Public Schools in the fall. I am currently on summer break and will start school again in the fall following the same schedule as Chicago Public Schools. This year I did my MSW internship at an alternative high school in Humboldt Park. I went to UW-Madison for undergrad and double majored in nutritional sciences and social welfare. During my undergrad summers I nannied for a family with four kids. The kids were all close in age and one summer they were all 5 years old or younger (3m, 2, 4 and 5). I have a 65 lb Goldendoodle and grew up with a lot of pets. In my free time I love to garden and I collect houseplants!

Katie is the best!! She is hardworking, dedicated, and always went above and beyond. She played with the kids all day. She would run around outside the house, do arts and crafts, and take them on day activities to different water parks and town events. She would always ensure they were eating healthy. She would clean up everything and also get the kids involved so they learned responsibilities too. We had 4 kids in five years and she handled them like the pro she is. Anyone would be beyond lucky to have her as a sitter. She became apart of our family. She still stops in and sees us when she is in town. You could ask for anyone better.
