About Katherine

With an interest in human development and family relationships, I became a babysitter in my early adolescent years and have loved working with children ever since. When I was 14 years old, I completed a local babysitting workshop and soon after, began working as a babysitter for two young girls. As I grew older, they added three new members to the family. I babysat for them throughout high school and traveled home from college on weekends their parents were out of town. During college, I began working as a babysitter for a family with three young children, and recently completed my full-time nanny position with them. After working for them for three years, the oldest girl is now eight, the middle boy is five and the youngest girl is three. I love working with children of all ages, but thrive during the younger years, newborn to five. My interest in childhood development make nannying jobs a true learning experience. I enjoy playing outside, trips to the park and local venues for children, reading books, playing pretend, attending sporting events and keeping daily routines. I'm open minded and have a big heart and look forward to working with new families.
