I've been working with animals since I was 18, when I volunteered with a shelter helping with feeding, cleaning & socializing. I went on to work as a vet assistant at an animal clinic where I learned about handling animals and giving medications. I no longer work as I am in an online degree program that makes a full-time job difficult. But my schooling is very flexible and I love animals so part-time pet care is perfect for me! I have watched cats & dogs, but I can also help with fish since I had a betta in high school. I am open to caring for other species but I would need extra instruction.
