About Katherine

I grew up going to Camp Kiniya. Through this experience I was shown specific skills on how to approach caretaking. I then went on to work on the athletic staff at Camp Kiniya the past two years in which my skills enhanced. I am currently a proctor at Deerfield Academy, in which I look after 17 freshman, ages 14-16. I have learned how to navigate conflict, homesickness, and safety issues through extensive training. I have babysat for kids ranging from ages 1 to 12. I am CPR and First Aid certified! I'd describe my personality as sociable, reliable, and attentive! I like working with kids because I love witnessing growth and learning. I am seeking a summer job with kids while training for field hockey! I started working with kids on athletic staff at Camp Kiniya. In my free time, I explore new hobbies, from crafts to outdoor adventures! One thing you should know about me is that I love all animals, especially dogs! I excel in conflict resolution and entertaining children!
