About Katherine

Hey there! My name is Katherine and I would love to get to know you & your family more. I've worked with children in some capacity for the past 10 years. I've done occasional babysitting, worked in the infants/toddlers room at a daycare, and done a summer as a nanny. I have been a social worker for the past 2. 5 years working with kids. I really value education & educational activities, with a focus on emotions, nature, and animals. I am CPR and first aid certified. I also was a CASA Volunteer for two years and I am TBRI (trust based relational intervention) trained. I have also spent the past 2. 5 years working with kiddos who have been through trauma. I believe that my experience gives me a unique perspective into children's behaviors. I am more than happy to work in a household that has pets. I love all furry friends & have two cats of my own.
