About Katherine

Hello! My name is Katie and I am currently in college and am looking for a stable and positive work environment! I love working with kids and find so much joy in taking care of them! I want to be able to help a family that is in need of help! Kiddos are a lot and I think it's important for families to have resources to provide support and relief! I'd describe my personality as kind bright and nurturing I started working with kids when I was a lifeguard at a local athletic club! I would teach swim lessons with kiddos and worked with all ages! I have always had kids around me (I am an aunt to 4 kids) and have loved kids since! One thing you should know about me is I am a planner! I like making a plan and sticking to it! But I can also improvise if those plans change! My skills include, deescalating a situation in a calm and loving way, entertaining kiddos by spending time with them, communicating with them in a constructive and positive way
