About Katherine

Empowering elementary students to become confident, independent thinkers is at the heart of my teaching practice. With four years of experience and a graduate degree, I specialize in Math, English, Science, and test preparation. I hold certifications as a Certified teacher, Individualized Education Programs (IEP), and Student accommodation plans (504). I believe in tailoring my approach to your child's unique needs by utilizing visual aids, hands-on activities, and collaborative discussions. By breaking complex concepts into manageable steps and connecting lessons to real-world interests, I help students build momentum and celebrate every milestone. I prioritize clear communication with families to ensure a supportive, trust-based environment. Whether we meet at your home, a library, or online, I am dedicated to fostering a love for learning. Seeing a student's confidence grow as they master new skills is truly the most rewarding part of my work.
