About Katherine

I am a compassionate and patient caregiver with respite care experience working with two nonverbal children under the age of 10 with developmental disabilities. I provided attentive support while encouraging each child to build age-appropriate daily living skills based on their parents' goals and expectations. I understand the importance of consistency, structure, and maintaining a calm, steady presence in a child's life. I am certified in CPR and First Aid, and I have completed Article 9 training and hold a current Fingerprint Clearance Card. I am also able to provide transportation, assist with light housekeeping, and support families in creating a safe and nurturing environment for their children. In my personal time, I enjoy reading, caring for animals, and tending to plants. As a full-time pet sitter, I am currently seeking part-time caregiving opportunities of up to 12 hours per week.
