We feel so lucky to have been able to have Kara as part of our family. It is so bittersweet losing her. We were so sad that she was leaving our family and the area, but so happy for her new adventure in Chicago. Kara watched my daughter, O, from when she was 6 months to 2 years. We interviewed multiple people, but Kara was by far our favorite. She was/is warm and sincere--we instantly liked her. With Kara there, I never had a moment when I was worried about O. Not only is she very capable of caring for O, but she gave love and affection, had endless patience, and supported her development as well. She would send pictures, text me cute little things that had happened, and even took a video for me of O first crawling! She is thoughtful, flexible, alway willing to help out, and anyone would be beyond lucky to have her.
