About Katherine

Empowering students to reach their full potential is at the heart of my teaching practice. I believe every learner possesses unique strengths, and I strive to create an engaging, patient environment where these talents can flourish. By actively listening and observing how you interact with new material, I tailor my methods to fit your specific needs. When concepts feel challenging, I break them down into manageable steps and connect them to your personal interests to build momentum. I prioritize clear communication with both you and your parents to ensure we are always working toward your goals together. Whether we are tackling math, science, or study skills, I find immense joy in witnessing that "aha!" moment when a difficult concept finally clicks. I look forward to building a supportive rapport with you and helping you grow your confidence as we master new skills together.
