Though we offered her a position, she declined which I respect, however, one of the reasons was that my husband and I needed a nanny right away and she couldn't start until she gave adequate notice at her current position. She stated this clearly in the interview so we would not have offered her the position if we weren't willing to give adequate time regardless of when we "needed" our nanny.
