About Katherine

Hello! I started babysitting cousins and neighbors at the age of 15. Since then I have continued to babysit and nanny. In my 20s, I nannied part time for 2 families; one second grader and a family of 4 (ages 2-10). I also regularly babysit for a family with a newborn and a 3-year-old. I'd describe my personality as kind, empathetic, and detail oriented. I like working with kids because they are incredibly cute and funny! I am so looking forward to being a mom one day and I read parenting looks, etc. to prepare for that! In my spare time, I like to crochet, read, go kayaking, and hike with my dog. One thing you should know about me is I am able to handle anything! I used to nanny a boy with some behaviors, he would get very physical when he was angry and needed help regulating. He has improved so much since then, I am so proud of him! My skills include cooking lunch/ dinner, playing imaginative games, and singing.
