About Katherine

Hello! My name is Katherine, and I am a junior attending, Gordon College. Most recently I have served as the Families Ministries Intern at my church where I lead a middle school girls' group weekly, and work with preschool and elementary age children bi-weekly. I have spent my last three summers caring for two children, ages 5 and 8 now. I also spent the summer before last serving as a youth group leader for my church, where my duties include caring for and building relationships with students ages 12-17. During my senior year of high school, I took part in an Early Childhood Education program, where we ran an on-site preschool. I was often responsible for caring for and teaching two to four preschoolers at a time. I am pursuing my degree in Christian Ministries with concentrations in Youth Ministry and Social Impact Ministry, along with three minors in Biblical Studies, Spanish and Theatre.
