About Katherine

Hello! My name is Katherine, please read below for my experience. I have over 9 years of experience during which my duties ranged from mother's helper, babysitter, unit lead, foster care caseworker, and aftercare teacher. From August of 2019 to December of 2019 I was a "floater" at a daycare/preschool. Meaning I worked with all of the children 3 months to 4 years. I was also one of the head teachers in the aftercare room (after school care for K-1st.) I have worked with a few other families as a nanny, babysitter, and a mother's helper from ages 3 months to 3 years. In the summer of 2022 I was Unit Lead for the Girl Scouts ages 13 to 15 years at Camp Addisone Boyce in Tomkins Cove. May 2024 I graduated with my bachelor's in social work. Since then I have been a caseworker in foster care. Working with kids from 6 months to 20 years of age with varying developmental needs. My availability is flexible starting in August.
