About Katherine

Hello, my name is Katie and I'm a college educated nanny who has worked in child care for eight years. I have had the opportunity to provide care as an at-home nanny, but also as a daycare assistant-teacher, an elementary school mentor and a fine art teacher. I have experience caring for newborns, children up to 14 years old, and even twins. My number one priority as a nanny is the safety and security of the children in my care, as well as maintaining a dependable relationship of trust and kindness with families. Some of my favorite activities to do with the children I nanny are outdoor adventures such as going to the playground, or on walks. I also love to do art projects, and even bake together if they are old enough. I also love to encourage children to read, whether it be independently or by reading to them. I have continually seen that it truly does take a village to raise a child, and I always consider it a blessing to be another trusted source of care for a family.
