About Katherine

I am a young professional living in the Burlington area, completing my Master's in English. I graduated from UVM with a Bachelor's Degree in 2017. I have worked with children throughout my teen and adult years in various capacities, including as a camp counselor, a lifeguard, a nanny, a tutor, a personal care assistant, a coach and a babysitter. I have also cared for my cousin's children when they were infants and toddlers. I am First Aid/CPR certified, and was a certified lifeguard for almost 10 years, although that certification has recently expired. I speak fluent Italian and have tutored children in the language. As a camp counselor, I taught children of various ages wilderness skills, crafting, swimming, songs, games of every kind, etc. I have extensive experience working with children and teenagers with various learning disabilities. I have been a Girls on the Run coach for three years and a GBGSL coach for one year. I enjoy the outdoors, running, cooking, reading and gardening!
