About Katherine

My name is Katherine (or Rin) and I am 25 years old. As a social work major at TCC hoping to become a peds OT eventually, child development and education is my passion. I enjoy a variety of things & have done coursework on pediatric sensory integration, emotional regulation, stress tolerance and impulse control. I have cared for children 0 to 14 since I started babysitting as a teenager. I'm also a handy cook, and don't mind helping out with some light cleaning. Homework & projects are nothing new to me and I'm always on board to get creative. I'm an avid hiker and love to swim; so trips to the park, playing outside, or walks around the neighborhood are good with me. I'd describe my personality as patient, understanding, and creative. I like working with kids because I find reward in getting to teach someone a new skill. In my spare time, I like to go on walks with my dog, draw, scrapbook, go to church, and read.
