Compassionate CNA with over 10 years of hands-on experience in patient care. Skilled in ADL's, mobility support, vital signs, and fostering a safe, patient environment. I'd describe myself as caring, respectful, and positive. This is more than a job. This is a person, with feelings, emotions, a life, culture, beliefs, and loved ones. Being a caregiver that honors and respects this satisfies my soul. I started caring for seniors through the ROP CNA program in high school. I have given care over the years to different ages, from children to adult and seniors. In my spare time, I like to take my dogs on traveling adventures. One thing you should know about me is I will respect privacy, respect home space, and respect the person or people I'm caring for. My skills include assisting with bathroom needs, mobility assistance, comfort and positioning. I have experience with ostomys, catheters, ileostomys, post stroke care, post cardiac event care, and care after falls and fractures.
