About Katherine

Hello! My name is Katie! As a 21-year-old college student studying to become an elementary teacher, my coursework at Michigan State has vastly expanded my knowledge on child development and needs. I have always adored working with children, and I have learned valuable skills through my field placement experiences and mentor teachers. I'm a very patient, warm, and reliable person. My calm demeanor when dealing with varying situations at my field placements, with children ages 2-7, has been commented on by my mentors. I will follow your preferred communication style while providing updates, and I look foward to applying what I have learned while fostering a safe, educational, and fun environment for your child(ren).
