About Katherine

My name is Katherine D., I currently teach small groups Literacy Education in the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools system. I have years of experience working with children and families ranging from interning with a Deaf education teacher to the basics of babysitting for date night, to being a full-time preschool teacher! I am Adult and Pediatric CPR/First Aid/AED certified, as well as SIDS-trained. I am Orton-Gillingham trained and can provide tutoring for an additional fee. My experience with ages ranges from newborns all the way through elementary school. I have loved the time I have been privileged to spend working with and caring for babies, children, and teenagers so much that I ultimately decided to make it my future career. I am excited for the opportunity to work with you and your family!
