Hello everyone! I am a pediatric occupational therapist. I have spent a lot of time babysitting my 5-year-old nephew as well. I like to keep a balance of indoor/outdoor activities with my kiddos. Some of the things I have done with my nephew are making homemade play dough, trips to the playground, reading, finger painting, baseball, and walks around the neighborhood. My experience with kiddos has been that kids learn best from doing activities and experiencing the world around them. And if you can't be messy when you're a kid, when are you ever going to be messy! (only at certain times though hah!)
