I feel lucky to have found Katherine for both my children! She has always been very warm and loving towards my children. She is professional all in while being a regular person who just loves what she does. She has cared for my children since my daughter was one and my son was two months. I recommend her to anyone looking for great care and someone that you can trust.

I interviewed Katherine via text message for availability and she was very rude and unprofessional after informing her that my husband and I decided to work with someone else because we did not feel comfortable with her babysitting our child late night while bringing her child with. She continued to text me after I already said we would go with someone else. I had to tell her twice and explained that her situation was complicated (having either kid leave late night in the cold around 11 p.m. - either from her house or ours) and that we'd keep her in mind for the future. She got upset that we didn't hire a "single mom" and said that our lives must be easier than hers because my husband and I are together. This was a very odd interaction to say the least. We will never hire this lady as she is insulting and very rude for absolutely no reason. I didn't even need to meet her. Her messages said it all. Wow. Disappointing.


Katherine has a wonderful, intelligent son around my son's age however I am a single mom myself and my experience with her has not been well. There was always a miscommunication issue. It was agreed and established I would pay on a weekly basis. I would mostly call a day in advance, she would arrive late and but lived 19 blocks North of me. Pick Up was late, drop off was late. The last straw was a pick up for my son after school, the school bus had been sitting there waiting and luckily my sister showed up. She called to say she was in a cab, I cancelled with her and even was kind enough to pay half the cab. I thought I was done with her from there, Summer came, I used another care.com provider who is excellent and reliable but happened to take on another family for the end of summer/fall when my son goes back to school. Katherine had sent me a text, something about parents no longer needing her and she is looking to provide care for my son if possible, I honestly explained why I no longer needed her but was willing to give her another chance. It was imperative that she arrived at that time to release the morning baby sitter and because I was going from 1 job to the next. Long Story short Katherine never showed up. I have never shorted Katherine on pay, I always paid what I owed her. This matter could have been discussed appropriately after my 2nd shift at work and I was let go from my job relying on her.

I recently interviewed Katherine for the position of taking care of my three year old son.  She was very pleasant, calm and easy to talk to.
Currently, she is one of my favorite candidates for the job.

Katherine is one of the best sitters I've ever hired! She is sweet and loving with my daughter, absolutely responsible and competent.  She has great energy and really knows children. She also keeps things very neat and tidy! Thank you, Katherine!

Katherine took care of my 2 year old son full time for about a month as well as care on call. She is a genuinely warm and sweet person. It was hard as this was my first experience being away from my son on a daily basis, but I felt comfortable and at ease leaving him in her care.
