About Katherine

End-of-life support for my own family members was my focus for over 8 yrs. I am a calm and empathetic caregiver who understands unforeseen changes that happen in families. I know first hand the need for respite when our loved ones cannot go unattended. My background includes 10+ yrs as Hospice staff, which has enhanced my understanding of caregiving, too. My goal is to create an environment where your loved one trusts someone safe and patient is stepping in to help. Hopefully they will enjoy my company, too. I am adept at navigating memory care challenges. Communication, and regular updates through your preferred method is my goal. I can handle errands in my vehicle. I also like pets. I can cook with a recipe. I look forward to becoming a trusted, reliable part of your family's care plan. I am available part time. If this position is f/t I can share hours with other caregivers up to 16 hrs weekly
