About Katherine

My name is Katherine and I have a Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Education and Administration; I have just received my New York State certification as a Home Health Aide. I have always enjoyed caretaking and was my mother's caretaker when she felt ill to cancer. I also assisted with the care of my aunts who were ill and unable to care for themselves. I am very clean, neat, reliable, social and nurturing. In 2005 I had suffered an unforeseen emergency surgery which incapacitated me for a length of time. Being such an active person, I recall not being able to do basic things such as activities of daily life that brought on an increased amount of anxiety, sadness, and discomfort. I had no choice, but ask for help because I was unable to help myself for almost 6 months post surgery. This experience was very eye-opening and I look forward to assisting with similar challenges to anyone needing my help .
