About Katherine

Hello, my name is Katie and I'm a second year medical student at Temple living in Center city. I love spending time with kids and have lots of experience with kids of all ages! I have been babysitting since I was in high school, including being a nanny for three during lock-own. I am passionate about tutoring and enrichment as well, so I have lots of experience through volunteer and paid tutoring, working at a summer program for struggling readers, running interactive programs at museums, and teaching at summer enrichment programs. Since I am in medicine, I am CPR certified and I always love a good science project! I drive, have my own car, and am comfortable driving kids and other cars. Pets are no problem, I love all animals! Particularly dogs (I own an adorable black lab mix), but I have sat for families with dogs, cats, guinea pigs, hamsters, fish, and turtles. I'm always happy to help when it comes to pets!
