I have a Bachelors Degree and graduated in the top 5% of my University. I have consistently held 3. 5-4. 0 GPAs and have been in Advanced Placement classes. I have excelled in tutoring both English/Language Arts and Writing, as well as Math up to Calculus II. I first try to identify any barriers to success (#1 is ensuring the child has a well-lit, quiet area with few distractions in which to finish homework and study) then we can dive into trouble areas together in a patient and understanding way. As someone who at one point hated math, and now loves it, I feel I'm a uniquely qualified tutor to help children in this area to encourage looking at math in a different light so that it won't become a life-long struggle. Kat is phenomenal! She is very flexible, kind, and easy going. She does everything she can to make the most of the time she is with the people she is tutoring. She goes above and beyond! She's been able to help me with so much math is just the little time she's been with me. I would definitely recommend her to anyone.
