About Katherine

Hi families! My name is Kate. I'm 33 years old and was born and raised in Connecticut, but I've called Florida home for the past three years and just telocated back to CT. I have a passion for caring for children and helping them learn, grow, and thrive in a safe, nurturing environment. I bring over 15 years of caregiving experience, including 5 years working in a daycare center, 10 years of a private nanny, and 10 years as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). I am also trained in First Aid, giving families added peace of mind when their children are in my care. Throughout my career, I've worked with children of all ages, from 8-week-old infants to teenagers, and I enjoy adapting activities to each child's developmental stage and interests. I love keeping children engaged through arts and crafts, outdoor walks, educational play, reading, and child-friendly outings that encourage learning, creativity, and fun!
