Hello! My name is Katya! I have been a friend and caretaker to older folks since I was a child. I was blessed to have a close extended family with many great aunts and uncles. When I moved away from home, I moved into an intentional, intergenerational community where I quickly found my role to be a friend and caretaker of the elders. It began with helping in their gardens, then around the home, with errands, emotional support and more. I believe that growing up with nurturing elders in my family gave me a close connection to older folks. I find these relationships to be some of the most meaningful and mutually nourishing relationships I have. I would love to support older folks with tasks and company!
