About Katharine

Hello! My name is Katharine, and I'm an MFA graduate from the New School, with extensive experience (12 years) providing care for children of all ages, especially pre-k and school aged kids. I'm currently looking for a position with a start date for this summer! I'm warm, creative-minded, well traveled, educated, responsible, reliable, and the safety of the children is my top priority. I am a good cook, I love adventuring, reading, the arts, science, and being outdoors. I have experience with coordinating projects/playtime activities, homework help, playdates, attending activities and classes with the children, traveling with children via NYC transit and taxis, meal prep, errands, potty-training, diapers, bath-time, bottle feeding, maintaining nap/sleep schedules, administering medication to children, and providing a warm and caring environment for the children to grow and thrive.
