I encourage elementary students to engage with art by exploring their existing interests through an artist's lens! This helps them to build the confidence that is too often snuffed-out in the traditional classroom setting. Illustration is my favorite mode of art, but students will have the opportunity to also try sculpture, painting, craft, and art history. I am a stained glass artisan who has been teaching that craft on and off for 6 years. My background in art includes a BA in Architecture and Urban design, and an advanced diploma in Restorative Arts.
