About Katharine

Hi families! I'm a dedicated and compassionate special needs teacher with 5 years of classroom experience and over 10 years of working with children in a variety of roles. I'm relocating to the Charleston area in August and am seeking a full-time nanny position starting in September. I have extensive experience supporting children with diverse abilities and developmental needs and pride myself on being patient, attentive, and adaptable. My teaching background has strengthened my skills in behavior support, routine-building, communication, and individualized care-skills I bring into every home I work in. In addition to teaching, I've worked as a babysitter, lifeguard, and camp counselor, giving me a strong foundation in child safety, supervision, and engaging children through age-appropriate activities. I'm confident caring for children of various ages and enjoy creating a structured yet fun environment where kids feel safe, supported, and encouraged to grow.
