About Katharina

Hello! My name is Katharina and I am originally from Germany. I came to New Orleans as an Au Pair in 2001 and have been working as a nanny and babysitter ever since. I have experience caring for children ages newborn through 13 years. I'm also the proud mother of an 19-year-old son. I specialize in overnight care for newborns but have also stayed with families for several years and my general responsibilities included, but were not limited to: feeding, bathing, reading and other playtime activities, school drop-off and pick-up, taking children to doctor's appointments, out-of-the-house activities (such as play dates and visits to the Children s Museum, playground and library), administering medicine, and light cooking for children. Some families have also asked me to teach their little ones German. I love helping children grow up and am committed to creating a safe and nurturing environment for them.
