About Kat

I have been working with children for over 20 years. Caring for little ones has always been both my passion and my calling. I hold a degree in Early Childhood Development and am Montessori certified for children ages 2-k. Previously, I taught at a Montessori school and was a steady nanny for a sweet family in NY for 2 years. In addition to my teaching background, I owned and operated a newborn photography studio here in Charleston for four years. This gave me extensive hands-on experience with newborn handling, safety, soothing techniques, and attentive care during some of the most delicate stages of early life. I am also a parent myself and have a young, loving family with a sweet 4-year-old. He attends preschool and will not be with me while I'm working, allowing me to be fully present and focused on the child in my care.
