About Kate

I'd describe my personality as friendly, outgoing, and kind. I have gotten very good feedback from families. I like working with kids because it's fun. I have been around kids younger than me my whole life, I was always the oldest kid in the family and friend groups. I was a summer camp counselor at a day camp for 5 years. This camp ranged from ages 3-11 so I was able to work with a variety of age ranges. I have also have been babysitting for majority of my life. I'm looking for a job that supports my schedule. In my spare time, I am a cheerleader, and on the board for my sorority. This past summer I was an intern for Children and Families in Providence, RI. I shadowed a doctor through intake, testing, and follow up appointments for children referred to the center for suspicions of autism or developmental delays. This experience gave me many tools for working with kids on and off the spectrum.
