About Kate

I'd describe my caretaking personality as patient, nurturing, and creative. I like working with kids because it's always a different experience that teaches myself, and the kids, something new. I love getting to experience fun things with them and coming up with fun activities to do. I started working with kids when I was about 13 years old. Since then, i've been employed with around 4 families, up to 4 kids at a time. In my spare time, I like to bake and cook, exercise, spend time outside and read. My skills include understanding how to be patient with the kids, knowing how to calm them down, and being aware to keep them safe at all times.
