About Kate

Hey Families! I am currently looking for a part time position as a nanny or a house manager, ideally starting September. I'm hoping to find a family that's willing to adapt with my nursing school schedule, as it changes term to term. A little about me: I've been working full time as a nanny for about 8 years, caring for infants as young as 3 months to 10-year-old kids. This past year I began working as an CNA at a level 1 trauma pediatric hospital in PDX! Here is a little bit of insight about my childcare philosophy: I always seek to be a loving, patient friend who encourages curiosity and sympathy. I strive to teach through example and lived experiences. Being a part of a child's life is such a privilege, so I want to make sure I am a positive contribution to these important developmental years.
