About Kate

Hi! My name is Kate, I'll be 20 in July and am currently in school. Fostering a child's development and making a positive impact on the lives of children I meet is important to me. With 3 years of experience caring for up to 3 kids as well as classrooms full of children (ages 6mo.- 12yrs, up to 15 kids at a time), I can offer a patient, calm, and approachable presence. My background in Montessori and private school childcare as well as undergrad school in a B. B. A major informs my focus on promoting learning through games, though I also love engaging in physical activities and more. I have CPR Training and First Aid Training certifications. I'm happy to assist with diapers, carpooling and housekeeping/meal prep, and all other activities for a child. I follow your lead on household rules and prioritize a communication method for daily updates. I'm confident and comfortable with pets as well. I look forward to becoming a reliable partner for your family and seeing children thrive.
