Kate has been watching our two boys from infant care to their now elementary-age years. She has done everything from ad hoc babysitting to pet/house sitting to our daily morning nanny (getting the boys ready, fed, and driven to school for two years while I commuted to Chicago for a job). As an accomplished homemaker herself, I’ve seen her navigate the highs, lows, tantrums and zoomies of kids - all calmly and with compassion, with the level of direction they needed in the moment, and the innate knowledge of what to do as she’s already raised four great kids of her own. She is a thorough communicator and has always adapted to our requests. We joke the kids get a treat too when she does overnights and they get her homecoming. The house is always pristine when we get home, which is a nice bonus. We fully trust Kate with our kids, pets and house! I know you’ll have a wonderful experience with her too!
