About Kate

I'd describe my personality as conscientious, compassionate and kind. I am drawn to care for seniors. I feel a sense of duty to make sure they are getting what they need and want and facilitating it. I'm looking for a job that I can help the individual feel comfortable knowing they don't have to worry so then there is more room as to enjoy life. In high school I worked with Kelly Girl Services where I was a senior home companion. I volunteered at The Indianapolis Women's retirement home where I gave manicures . Most recently, I enjoyed taking care of my Mom. I learned about dementia where gentleness and grace go hand in hand. In my spare time, I like to work on my home with my husband and be with our three Basset hounds. We hike and enjoy music. I am a strong advocate for the rights of vulnerable individuals and animals. I am always aware of what is going on around me and what needs to be done. I always want to be lighthearted and enjoy life while doing what needs to be done.
