Hello families! I have several years of experience caring for children from 4 months up to 10 years old. I love working with little ones and supporting each stage of their growth and development. With babies, I focus on creating a nurturing and safe environment, while with older children I enjoy encouraging creativity, curiosity, and play. Some of my favorite activities with kids include outdoor playtime at the park or in the yard, trips to the library, arts and crafts, and reading together. I also enjoy incorporating Spanish into our daily routine-it's always rewarding to help children learn and hear a new language in a fun and natural way. Kate has been caring for our two children for two years. She is reliable and on time each day. Even if she is going to be a minute late, she will text me to tell me ahead of time. Kate taught our children Spanish. Each seems to understand it very well. The children also enjoy their time with Kate, my oldest gets excited when they know they get to spend the day with her. I with out a doubt trust her with our children, she even drives our family car. She texts me throughout the day, if they leave the house or go outside, just so I know where they are. Kate can be shy, but warms up over time, and always does well with the kids. Kate also cleans as she goes through the day. I enjoy seeing the playroom and kitchen are clean after she has been here. She empties the dishwasher, and will wash the kids clothes, among other chores (if needed). This is so helpful! She was even so kind to take care of me when I wasn't feeling well one day. She has a big heart. You would be so lucky to have her care for your family!
