About Kate

My passion and spark for life comes from working with children! I have worked two years at preschool so far, most of which has been with special needs kids. Before that, I had a 4-5 families I regularly babysat and nannied for. I have an associate's degree and am currently working toward my bachelor's. My defining traits are patient, calm, and optimistic, and my philosophy is that children are best cared for in a stimulating, fun environment where interpersonal connections are made. I am comfortable managing 3-4 children across all age groups, from infants to teens. I have a lot of experience with getting creative to maintain a stimulating, exciting, and even educational environment. I am happy to assist with meal preparation, light housekeeping, travel, tutoring, and attentive swimming supervision.
