New to Care
This is a criminal background check required for all caregiver before they can message families.
Hospice care is deeply personal to me. I went to college for nursing and gained experience in the field, but the moment that shaped my heart for this work was losing my own father while he was on hospice. I remember what it felt like to hope for comfort, to fear the unknown, and to want someone who truly cared--not just for the patient, but for the family holding everything together. Because of that experience, I show up differently. I slow down. I listen. I treat every patient with the same tenderness I wanted for my dad, and I support families with the understanding I once needed myself. I know this chapter can be overwhelming, heartbreaking, and sacred all at once, and my goal is to bring warmth, dignity, and steady compassion to every step of the journey. This isn't just a job for me--it's a way to honor my father by being the kind of caregiver he deserved, and by making sure others feel seen, comforted, and never alone.
