I worked the last 4. 5 years in special recreation at NEDSRA. I am currently back in school to pursue nursing. I have my CNA, CPR and First Aid, and CPI certification. I really think I am the right type of person to work in nursing and with the special needs population. I am super calm and patient. I encourage independence while also gauging the situation and needs and can adapt quickly. I have a lot of experience managing behaviors and handling unique situations. I really do have a special spot in my heart for the special needs population and would love to find a way to still work with them still.
