About Kate

I've owned and cared for all kinds of animals my entire life ranging from dogs and cats to Guinea pigs and turtles. Currently I have a 6-year-old Sheltie, a 7-month-old cat, and a rabbit and turtle. On top of this, I worked as a dog daycare attendant for close to three years where I supervised play groups, worked with the dogs on basic training (ranging from sit, stay, and other basic skills to fun tricks!), and did basic grooming (bathing, brushing, nail trimming). I'm also trained in dog body language and how to identify certain medical conditions and emergencies. I've worked with dogs of all different breeds and have worked with and owned dogs of all ages ranging from puppy to senior. I'm currently a junior at North Carolina State University but have come home to Maine for the summer. I have lots of free time all day, every day of the week so I'm very flexible with scheduling!
